The National Duncan Glass Society was established in 1975 by a dedicated group of collectors. The goal to establish a museum to preserve the rich history of Duncan & Miller Glass and to house a permanent exhibit was realized in 1993 when the Society purchased a building on Jefferson Ave. in Washington, PA not far from where the Duncan & Miller factory once stood. | |
The museum features an exhibit of all glass made by factories of Washington, PA |
|
The generosity of the local collectors
and enthusiasts from across the country, and acquisitions made by the
Society, continually add to the collection which includes glassware
dating from the 1870’s thru 1955, glassmaking tools, molds and
memorabilia. Annual National Convention, Glass Show & Sale - last weekend in July |
